C&D Light Industry Co-hosts the China-Asean Home Appliance & Consumer Electronics Industry Top Channels Summit

On March 20, the China-Asean Home Appliance & Consumer Electronics Industry Top Channels Summit, jointly organized by the AWE Organizing Committee and AVI Data, with support from C&D Light Industry, was held in Shanghai. Leading enterprises, channel distributors, and industry experts from ASEAN and China’s home appliance and consumer electronics sectors gathered to build consensus on fostering a high-quality industrial ecosystem between China and ASEAN.

At the summit, Xu Dongsheng, Vice Chairman of the China Household Electrical Appliances Association; Wen Jianping, Founder and CEO of AVI Data; Gao Chaozhen, General Manager of the Home Appliance & Electronics Division of C&D Light Industry; and executives from top Southeast Asian channel distributors such as FPT Retails JSC, PicoRetails JSC, The Mall Group, and LCDTVTHAILAND delivered speeches under the theme “Integrated Coexistence, Intelligent Future”.

Discussions focused on core topics including corporate digital transformation, smart living and home ecosystems, AIoT, and data resource utilization. Participants explored strategic opportunities in Southeast Asian markets under the RCEP framework, injecting new momentum for Chinese smart manufacturing to deepen industrial collaboration with ASEAN and build a cross-border supply chain ecosystem.

Currently, ASEAN has emerged as one of the world’s most dynamic economic regions, with soaring consumer demand for home appliances and consumer electronics. Driven by its large young population, rapidly growing market needs, and RCEP policy advantages, ASEAN is becoming a pivotal market for China’s global home appliance expansion. Attendees widely agreed that China’s mature intelligent manufacturing capabilities and ASEAN’s robust market demand will accelerate synergy, unlocking vast cooperation and development opportunities.
