Coffee Global, Industry Together | C&D Light Industry and Its Coffee Partners: 2025 Coffee Industry Roundtable

On November 20th, C&D Light Industry successfully hosted the "C&D Light Industry and Their Coffee Friends 2025 Coffee Industry Roundtable." As an annual high-level dialogue platform for the coffee industry, this conference gathered key players from the coffee supply chain, financial institutions, and industry research bodies to engage in deep discussions on the collaborative development and value co-creation of the global coffee industry.

The event was attended by key leaders, including Lin Zhenya, Deputy Director of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce; Wang Minli, Deputy Director of the Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao Affairs Department of the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce; Cheng Dongfang, General Manager of C&D Inc.; Wang Zhibing, Deputy General Manager of C&D Inc. and General Manager of the Consumer Goods Group; Ma Yigong, Brand Director of C&D Inc; Pan Ruo, General Manager of C&D Light Industry.

In his opening speech, Wang Zhibing, Deputy General Manager of C&D Inc. and General Manager of the Consumer Goods Group, stated that the original intention of the C&D Light Industry Coffee Industry Roundtable is to create a high-quality, open, and sustainable exchange platform. C&D will work with industry partners to introduce high-quality global coffee beans into China, while also conveying the demand of the Chinese market to the world.

During the thematic sharing session, expert representatives from C&D Light Industry, Galaxy Securities, and the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce provided in-depth insights into the global coffee production and sales landscape, the impact of macroeconomic factors on the industry, and Xiamen's policy support system for the coffee industry. They offered forward-looking trend analysis and industry insights for coffee partners.

In the "Origin" discussion, representatives from NKG Shanghai, the Colombian National Coffee Growers Federation, Mullege Plc (Ethiopia), and C&D Light Industry explored the production status, cost structure, and sustainable development paths of key coffee-producing regions such as Brazil, Colombia, Ethiopia, and Yunnan, China. Their discussions provided professional insights for building a stable and reliable global coffee supply system.

The "Futures" session brought together experts from Ecom, Sucafina, DaKa International, and C&D Inc.'s Futures Management Department. Participants engaged in deep exchanges on the practical applications of futures tools and opportunities for coffee futures listing in China. They shared mature risk management experiences from international coffee companies.

In the "Consumption" session, representatives from Wellstand Foods, Zhongka Foods, Xbloom, and C&D Emerging Industry Equity Investment discussed new market trends. The Chinese coffee consumer base is steadily growing, with increasingly diverse consumption scenarios, demonstrating strong growth resilience and vast development potential for the future.

In his concluding speech, Cheng Dongfang, General Manager of C&D Inc., emphasized that C&D Inc. will continue to deepen global resource integration, focus on cultivating the global competitiveness of China’s coffee industry, and help Chinese coffee gain a foothold on the global stage, enhancing China's influence within the global coffee landscape.
